The next step to end the attacks against the church and his leaders is to:
STOP/END THE DESECRATION OF THE POOR IN THE NAME OF GOSPEL
How much Jesus loved the poor that himself became poor that all might be rich, from throne to manger, from manger to Egypt, from Egypt to Nazareth, from Nazareth to Fields, from fields to the Cross, from Cross to the grave, from the grave to the throne. He was once hungered but could not even find Fruits on the fig tree, he was angry and laid a curse, he was once stopped from Crossing because of tax etc. means Christ on the throne today once pass through poverty as a stage of life.
He loved the poor that he called his father to feed them in the field of Tibras both the feeding of 5,000 and 4,000 respectively are primarily a symbol of compassion, love, and concern for the poor; the Miracles is the secondary. what if the leaders of today have such feelings for their members no one would have been poor, rather, the leaders emphasize on the Miracles not Christ attitude towards the hungered.
How much Christ loved the poor, he first called Andrew, Peter, James, John, who were suffering and struggling in their fishery business, he saw Nathaniel under a fig tree (jobless) etc, he choose the Miserable as disciples, uneducated and coward like Peter made the list of his disciples, one of his father’s who reign in Israel King David was in the cave of Abdullam governing over the miserable, he loved them.
In act of Apostles, the leaders of the churches loved the poor that even the poor has what the rich has “they have everything in common” that is what the Bible says. In the early days of Christianity in Nigeria the poor were happy, they had favor with the rich, if the trend had continue will this attacks have come upon the churches and the leaders? No, who will call the father and the friends of a poor fool or idiot in the name of of content creation or activism? no one will do that.
The sudden changes in the trend of love and concern for the poor to the desecration of the poor is the primary reasons for the attacks against the church and it’s leaders. Let’s take the wickedness against the poor one after the other according to their preaching;
“if you give to the rich you will be rich, if you give to men on top you will rise up, if you give to the blessed you will be blessed, if you sow into a fruitful life you will be fruitful” these statements are synonymous, they are indirect attack against the poor and outright desecration, this interprets, “if you give to the poor you will become poor, if you give to the man below you will go down, if you give to one yet to be blessed you will lost blessings, now you can imagine why the poor find no help with the blessed or with the rich in the today’s churches? they preferred to take all to the church leaders because of the gospel they heard.
Moreso you can hear the preachers saying “poverty is a sign of ungodliness and sign you are a sinner; wow, this is outright desecration of the poor,
those attacking the poor and needy comparing them to Sinner and ungodly forgot that what they sow and they must reap, who knows if the attacks against the leaders is God’s way of fighting for the poor and the fatherless? These and more are what the attackers are seeing that compelled them to strike at the leaders of the churches, as we said, this may be the God of the fatherless and the poor fighting back, if the church leaders end the desecration of the poor and prioritize their welfare as the bible commanded, the attackers will have nothing to attack. Let’s make Christianity attractive again.
